Area-51m R2, error fans D0501
Alienware Area-51m R2
This evening I ran SupportAssist and got the following error "Fans - Functional Tests - D0501" on the Hardware Scan portion of the test. A few minutes later I ran only the Hardware Scan and the error was gone. What exactly is this error telling me?

You need to replace the fan -- there are two different fans depending on whether the system has integrated or discrete graphics. Neither is very expensive
