@Harish Yeluri  when you say you want to "change your operating system", it sounds like you want to REPLACE Windows 10 with Linux -- but then you asked about dual boot, which means you want to ADD Linux.  However, I'm not sure it will work.  Take a look at this thread where a user had trouble getting an Alienware m15 working on Linux and was told that Dell simply doesn't support Linux on those systems, and in fact has never supported Linux on any Alienware systems.  Also note that to get Linux to even see your SSD, you'll need to go into the BIOS and change from RAID mode to AHCI mode -- but if the system is in RAID mode now, that change will break your existing Windows installation.  I believe you can work around that by booting into Safe Mode once after making the change, and after that it will work properly, but I'm not sure.  Anyhow, I would recommend that you perform a full system image backup before doing this.  There are several tools to accomplish this, such as Macrium Reflect, which has a free version that will work for this purpose.
