Seriously, why Dell keeps doing business with Killer brand from Qualcomm? Put intel in your wireless phy and we will be forever thankful.

Since 10 years ago (I'm an old alienware user whose purchased several alienware laptops along time) they keep having the same issues. BSODs, LAGs, and all sort of problems you can even imagine.

Now I'm with an Alienware 17 R5 (still under warraty) and now, just after windows update install the update to driver version 12.0.0.825 it started to show ping spikes from time to time, periodically for some seconds, and then come back to normal.

this version is completely laggy, ping goes 2ms stable for long periods and suddenly goes right to the top to 400ms 500ms peaks for some seconds then, comes back to normal, this happens often and periodically and is a driver issue. It starts right away after windows update update to Qualcomm Atheros 12.0.0.825 and A-volute 1.3.1.0, I really hate Wireless Killer drivers, your developers always make mistakes and bring caos and instability. I don't know why alienware keeps doing business with you. You just look around in the forums and everybody will be having the same line of thought. its not just me. its everybody that has an DELL with Killer wireless. this is a software issue, already happened to me twice on this driver version 12.0.0.825 and it somehow changes something that cannot be rolled back even with windows restore, maybe a firmware set? I don't know, I just know that last time I've lost more than two weeks trying to fix your **bleep**ty driver please, fix it.

just to let you know, even using the killer uninstaller software provided by them, it still doesn't fix and cannot roll back. This is a driver related issue and the same driver 12.0.0.8xx have caused exactly the same problem before on another windows install. The only fix was: or clean install windows 10, or, if you have a previous build, upgrade to another build then, it comes back to normal, even with the latest driver (until killer driver updates again in windows update)

Alienware should praise for reliability, not instability! Stop supplying killer with your high end laptops and spare us from all sorts of troubles related to it. (they even have a thoubleshooting on their websites acknowledging their issues related to no internet, no interface adapter recognized, and all sorts of problems that they know that they cause even to an OEM factory install.  

Their suggestive name "killer" is killing our internet experience or at least turning it into a nightmare!
