Laptop stuck in bootloop after Windows 10 update. Help please!
Hi everyone :smileyhappy:
Yesterday, before I went to bed, my Alienware 17 downloaded the latest Windows 10 update. This morning, when I tried to turn the computer on, it is stuck in a bootloop, going only through the Alienware welcome screen and the "restoring previous versions of Windows" screen, before reverting back to the Alienware screen again. I can get through to the setup utility, but I don't know how to initiate a system restore from there. I've tried hitting F10 and F11 (as I've seen mentioned in other threads elsewhere) but nothing happens.
Any help would be wildly appreciated, I just want to take it back to before the Windows 10 upgrade.
Thanks!

I suggest reinstalling windows 10 by downloading the Windows 10 ISO file through Dell’s website, see link below):

Or...
Create a windows 10 installation media from the Microsoft website.
Download Windows 10 Disc Image (ISO File) - microsoft.com

You'll need a blank USB flash drive with at least 8GB of space and a good working computer to download the windows 10 ISO file.

Done all the things listed on that page, can't seem to get it working. Ran a full diagnostic of the hardware, and it's come back totally fine, so not sure what to do.
Taking it to a computer repair shop tomorrow first thing.

Hardware failure or system instability can cause the computer to reboot continuously. The problem could be the RAM, Hard Drive, Power Supply, Graphics Card or External devices: – or it could be an overheating or BIOS issue. This post will help you if your computer freezes or reboots due to Hardware issues. You will have to be in Safe Mode to be able to make changes. ISTQB Certified Tester (CTFL) can help you better on the same.
