m15 R1, 2019 overheating issue
After 7th attempt of repair, including multipe mobo replacements and heatsink, fans My M15 gets to 100C in a snap even under light load. Now I'm getting mu GPU up to 90C and it's all after shipping this piece to Dell Facility for repair that was done in late May(see :https://www.dell.com/community/Alienware/m15-2018-still-overheating-after-5th-Dell-repair/m-p/7550565/thread-id/28451). Very latest one was just a re paste LOL.and did change absolutely nothing!
I think Primary NVME is actually failing as i get OS wide lag while playing Overwatch, Apex Legends, sometimes while simply using OS with light load applied! I have measured the CPU outtake radiator with IR thermometer and it goes up to 108C while HWMonitor shows 102 on CPU package (Laptop is sitting on a Aluminum pad with 2 fans.
I wasted so much time and money buying this laptop. Every time narration goes same: I get the info that: "This laptop is designed to run 100C, It's normal". Yeah. OH did I mention that It's 3rd week waiting for parts and i do have Premium Support that I spend 1000 on?
No More dell equipment of anykind, I had enough.
