m15 R1, CPU 100 celsius, thermal throttling
My alienware m15's temperature goes up to 100 celsius almost instantly after open games, I have tried to re-pasted thermal glue 1 month ago, even undervolt CPU voltage but the problem still haven't settled yet . Also, the hardware scan inside Dell Support Assist doesn't work with my computer.
These are normal temps with CPU undervolt settings and the screenshot of support assist. As you can see, the hardware scan part hasn't performed yet.

I have the exact same issue except the SupportAssist part.
I get around 80 FPS in Rainbow Six Siege, whereas according to Dell's website I should be getting 220+ FPS
The only change I have from the lowest settings is that I've turned up a two things to medium, LOD and Shadow.
I used to get 55-60 FPS with a 940MX (2GB) and i5-6200U on the same settings. I'd expect at least a stable 144 FPS with an RTX 2060 (6 GB) card and an i7-8750H.

Try setting "Turbo Boost Power Max" to 60.000W.
Core Voltage Offset to -0.120V.
and Cache IccMax 128.000A
Just that alone should lower your temps.. Let me know how that works for you.. It helped me a lot.. I can play any game with fans on Balanced and power on High and temps never go over 85...usually around 78-80 depending on the game. That's what I get when playing Modern Warfare.

Something interesting that I noticed just now that I never did before.. So I just ran 3 benchmarks in a row.. 1 was with fans on Quiet and I recieved a benchmark of 2121 and highest temp was about 68. then I ran it on balanced and recieved 2169 and temps got up to 90 which is odd because I never get that high while gaming. I also ran it at Performance and got the same score of 2169 and temps reached 99.. I will try do these tests while gaming and see what I get..
