m15 R2/m17 R2, BIOS changelog, undervolting not locked?
Hello,
For Alienware m15 R2 and Alienware m17 R2 a new BIOS released:
Version 1.18.3, date 27 Oct 2022
Official change:
- Firmware updates to address security vulnerabilities including (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures - CVE) such as CVE-2022-34398.
Could anyone confirm, that
undervolting IS NOT LOCKED in new bios?
I've been stuck in bios 1.3.1 since 2019 because updating to a later version locked undervolting on my laptop. Being able to undervolt is a MUST on my laptop since temps just go too high. Does anybody know a bios version for my laptop that does not lock undervolting?
