m15 R2/m17 R2, overheating issues solved?

I've got the 2017 Alienware 15 R3. Extreme heating issues in both the CPU and GPU, even had games freeze up from playing a few hours. Have they solved the overheating issues in the new series of Alienware m15 R2/m17 R2 laptops? Here's a link to the exact ones I'm referring to. Also, do the new touch pads still light up? I haven't seen it yet on the review sites, so I cant tell.

I have a 15 R3, have no issues with heat while gaming on my end. There is a bad batch out there with bad heat pipes/heat sinks.

I'm not sure about the New m15 but I got an m15 less than a year ago and it get really hot. Like 100C hot. So unless they changed the cooling system much then you can expect a lot of heat.
