m15 R3, AWCC OC Control Updates

Question

Over the last couple of weeks (including today), I've gotten notifications from Dell that the OC Controls have an update within the AWCC. This is an AWCC question about something good (I think) for a change! I like to run my m15 R3 on low power setting, quiet, w/o OC on in AWCC and - amazingly - I'm seeing a significant drop in temperatures for both my CPU (around 40 - 45 C) and GPU (2070 Super) of around 38 C. I haven't felt need need to go to the balanced setting yet, but even at low power this represents a drop of around 20 C for the CPU and 15 C for the GPU.

Does anyone know whether Dell has made significant changes to the AWCC to result in these welcome temperature drops? And, if so, what was done?

What would Dell be trying to reach me for? I didn't ask for help; quite the opposite, I was actually expressing satisfaction! What irony that Dell asks me to confirm that I'M not a robot!!!
