Hello crimson, thanks for your reply, unfortunately nothing that you suggest help with my issue. The BIST didn’t work at all as no image is shown on the laptop screen. The power button doesn’t light up either so I have no way of detecting the problem using system diagnostic lights.
Hey crimson, I’ve tried draining all the flea power from the battery but that didn’t help either. At what point do I start to assume that my gpu is no longer working?

Hi @Niccolot welcome to this free user to user Alienware laptop discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.
Support for Alienware m15 R3 during POST (Power On Self Test) includes System diagnostic lights and these should be reporting a fault.
Please try to run the LCD built-in self-test (BIST) diagnostics. How to Run the LCD Built-in Self-Test on a Dell Laptop | Dell US
Please select the No Video issues and watch video "My Laptop Display Will not Turn on". Resolve No Power, No POST, No Boot or No Video issues with your Dell Computer | Dell US
If system has Dell warranty, click on @DELL-Cares to send Private Message requesting assistance.

Hi @Niccolot thank you for sharing update.
The fans start spinning as part of POST hardware diagnostic, so system is not completely dead. Please try Flea power release. Alienware m15 R3 Flea power release | Dell US
