m15 R4, problem with screen

Hello everyone, I just bought an Alienware m15 R4. When I sign in with my account, the screen turn like I show you in the next photo. Someone can tell me if you know what is the problem and what could be the solution?

Hi @croberperez please Run the LCD Built-in Self-Test. If this is a permanent fault, please use your Dell account to ask Dell support to create Service Request for you. The first 30 day Approval duration gives user option to Reject and ask for new replacement system or full refund. Dell Refund policy, New vs Refurbished

After you run the lcd test then if it says the lcd is fine then I recommend doing a clean install of the graphics driver. If it is an actual lcd issue then I recommend using your warranty.

Looks like a faulty GPU.

I do agree it’s a faulty GPU since it’s not displaying correctly as @ilian359 said which also means it’s a board issue that needs a new motherboard.

Try connecting to another monitor via HDMI and see if that gives a picture so you can try doing a ePSA test and maybe a full shut down?
