m15 R5, actual TDP voltage? help
Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5
What is the actual voltage (TDP) of the Dell Alienware m15 R5 Ryzen edition?
I understand that it is 115 + 10. The question is, CPU-Z tells me that it is limited to 80. Is this a mistake? Is this a problem?

TDP of what? Total? In gaming laptops there's the TDP for the CPU and seperate TDP for the GPU. CPU will be 35-45w max if locked, probably <100 watts unlocked due to thermal and/or power delivery limitations. 80w TDP sounds about right for a mid-tier mobile graphics card. Keep in mind that performance does NOT scale linearly with TDP and laptops can not handle the extra heat anyway beyond around 50+100w for most.

@Mike1788 The manufacturer says that they are 115 as a base for the 3060, so would they be lying?

No, that's the maximum power for the GPU. The design of the notebook is critical as well -- it's very possible to hit that maximum in a 17" big, bulky notebook with a massive heatsink and fans -- but not in a slimmer 15" notebook like the Alienware M15R5.
You could move the 271 hp engine from a WRX into a basic Impreza -- but it won't put out 271 hp without the rest of the under-hood horsepower that comes in the performance model.
