m15 R5, AWCC doesn't work

At the end of my tether here. AWCC hasn't worked for many many months, complaining my device doesn't have any AlienFX devices. Have tried all the guides including the Dell one for removing all the parts, deleting folders, cleaning registries and so on. The issue I have is when trying to uninstall OR reinstall AWCC the wizard fails and says it was "interrupted" before it could be completed, so I'm completely stuck. I even tried Revo Uninstaller which other people reported success with. I've tried the small and the full install file. I've tried installing the Universal version first as some people suggest but NOTHING works. This seems to be an extremely common issue with people posting about the same issue all over the internet. This software is fundamental to the functioning of this machine, how can it be so utterly broken?  This was an expensive purchase and my first Alienware and after this experience, my only Alienware.
