m15 R5, AWCC thermal profiles not reading actual temperatures, GPU
l have an Alienware m15 R5 ryzen edition laptop. After I updated my Windows, AWCC wasn't detecting or using the dedicated GPU and my frames in game were extremely bad. Also, the temperature seems to be frozen on the thermal profiles section in AWCC fusion but its detected in Task Manager. When I try pressing updates available it says "Unable to complete the Installation of AWCC components"
I have tried factory resetting and it still kept doing this. I also tried deleting and reinstalling AWCC. I really need help because I'm not sure what to do anymore?

thank you everyone for the help!
I actually asked my friend to help me and they made me turn something off in BIOS (some hybrid graphics thingy), uninstalled AWCC completely (we thought it might have been the problem) and then also uninstalled and reinstalled the NVIDIA graphics drivers. Its not performing as well as it did before but it is still working better than when AWCC was installed.

Hi @jummy33 welcome to this user to user discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.
Thank you for sharing image that includes green box saying [Updates Available] in its header. AWCC Fusion tab requires installation of OC Controls for it to work. Sometimes AWCC automatically installs OC Controls, at other times AWCC asks user to install OC Controls, followed by Restart (not Shut Down).
When in local admin account and connected to internet, please click on [Updates Available] and allow AWCC to download updates so that it can finish installing itself by getting additional components, which could be AlienFX to get the AWCC FX tab working, then Restart (not Shut Down).
Please click on Kudos to say thank you for response from user that is not employed by Dell. Please share an update on progress, so that other users derive benefit from your experience. Thank you.

I got my command center working and apparently I just needed to update it through Alienware Update. I tested out a game and it still wasn't using my NVIDIA GPU. Is there anything else I could do?

I forgot but if command center doesent force it to use NVIDIA then I'd use the NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL.
Also make sure your thermals are good too.

Go check around in settings to manually force windows to use the NVIDIA GPU. Also The Command Center aswell. But what CPU do you have cause I thought some AMD CPUS have no integrated GPU.

I got the exactly the same issue with the 3060 GPU temperature staying at 2 degreeC in AWCC with my Dell G15 Ryzen edition. This is also after system updates (windows, drivers, bios, AWCC)
