m15 R5, running Destiny 2 30 frames

Question

Hi, i purchased this laptop at Christmas;

Alienware M15 R5 Gaming Laptop AMD Ryzen R7 5800H 16GB RAM 512GB SSD RTX 3050 Ti -

I have not really played it since i have been playing my Desktop - decided to see how it plays last night, loaded up Destiny 2 and noticed it didnt look very good, i filtered down the settings in Destiny 2 and the frame cap was set at 165 frames and graphics on high. so i modified the settings and even when on the lowest setting i still get 30 frames and below. any ideas on what is going on?

i updated all drivers and still same issue, not sure what is going on as by specs this should be better then my Desktop.

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti 4GB GDDR6
RAM Size: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz

@Will1994 yeah so... Your laptop has a Discrete NVIDIA GPU that has less than enough memory to run Halo at high settings with a high refresh rate. But everything else is fine with it in terms of specs.

I recommend installing the latest Game Ready drivers from NVidia and follow these settings to boost your performance
