m15 R6, keyboard backlight NOT on
I can't turn on my keyboard backlight. When I press Fn+F7, I can see the lights on my MOUSE on/off but not the keyboard. I can see the keyboard backlight on when start the computer, but not able to turn it on after Windows started. Is there anything I am missing? By the way, the Alien Head LED light is not on as well on the AC adapter.

This sounds like a firmware issue.
Have you gone to the Dell site directly, and had it scan your system for all hardware updates for your machine. Dell's support site is "auto-sensing".
Start with the BIOS first....then any chip-set drivers. Then any other drivers/updates.
Then re-run Microsoft's check, after all firmware/hardware is updated.

Thanks for you reply.
After this post, a Dell Support contacted by private message and suggested to re-install Alienware Command Centre.
I re-installed it and update BIOS to 1.6.0 and that fixed the keyboard backlight issue.
But the LED logo on the AC adapter is still not on.
