To contact Dell support for assistance with diagnosing the issue, you must click on Get Help Now button on the lower right of this screen and providing your system service tag (do not post it here).  After the warranty status is ascertained or a paid software support is arranged, an agent will be assigned to assist you with troubleshooting the issue.

I have the same exact problem with my Alienware m18 r1.  Of course the warranty expired 6 weeks ago.

When system is "active", I am getting 3 or 4 quick flashes, followed by about 13 quick flashes.  This pattern repeats.

When the system has turned off the monitor (but its still on) I get 2 reds, followed by 7 blues.

Will rolling back the bios fix this for the Alienware 18 m18 r1?  If so, where do I get one for MY machine?

@RSin2 , for a different system model, it may or may not be the same issue as OP.  If you open a new thread, it should gain better attention and you will receive the inputs there.
