m15 R7, need to recover Windows 11
I just got my new m15 R7 laptop with Windows 11. As I'd like to have a different installation (primary disk Linux, secondary disk Windows 11 and all without raid) I broke the RAID in the BIOS and I created some sort of rescue USB from de pre installed Windows 11.
After I wiped the disks and installed Linux and started to reinstall Windows 11 from scratch I ran into many issues which causes to not have any Windows anymore.
Booting MS Windows 11 iso fails during missing drivers and does not find any M.2 SSD at all.
Tried intel RST drivers and some other Intel mainboard drivers but no luck
Dell OS recovery reports no OS image available. Says my Service Tag has no image to download?
Dell OS recovery created some sort of rescue disk, but Booting from it works until it starts the actual recovery. An error has occurred it says and reboots.
Chatting with Dell support got me nowhere either so I have only Linux running and no way to get Windows back
Suggestions are welcome.
