m15 R7, no blinking/pulsing LED in sleep mode?
I have an Alienware m15 R7 with a Ryzen 7, RTX 3060 graphics card, 16GB of ram. When the computer is in sleep mode, the Alien head shaped power button is supposed to slowly blink on and off to indicate sleep (per the settings in Alienware Command Center). Instead, it just goes completely dark, so I can`t tell whether it is powered down or sleeping. Does anyone know how I can get this to work like it is supposed to?
Thanks!

Hi @RazorMouse welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.
The power-on button is designed to have no diagnostic LED when system is in sleep state, hibernation, or turned off. Alienware m15 R7 System-diagnostic lights - Power and battery-status light.

Thanks for your explanation. My confusion came from the fact that the "Alienware Command Center" software shows that it should pulse on and off when in sleep mode. But I have verified that you are right by observing the behavior of another Alienware laptop, and seeing the same result.
Still a little confused as to why it does not do what the Command Center software shows it should do....
