I just restored an Alienware M15x with running Windows 10 on it and everytime something pops up, like user account control (when i want to run a program that makes that pop up) the pointer acts bananas and jumps to random areas of the screen or doesnt move at all sometimes. Itll do this for a few seconds and then go back to normal. I dont have the Synaptics driver installed because when i do install it, Synaptics gets rid of my scrolling feature, which it says it has as a feature, but enabling it doesnt actually enable it. Synaptics DOES however get rid of that jumpy pointer glitch, but id rather have my scrolling feature functioning. Any ideas on what i can do? I tried unchecking "Enhance Pointer Precision" to no avail. Maybe something in Synaptics i can try? Willing to download that again. The only thing im not willing to do is get an actual mouse because im not a fan of them as Im more of a touchpad guy. Thank you for your help in advance.
