m17 R2, AWCC, scrolling issues

Question

Hey all, first time poster.  I just got my Alienware m17 R2 and am having two issues out of the box.  1) When I try to update the AWCC, I get a 1603 error. I scoured the net and didn't find anything specific to my situation. I have then followed directions on how to completely remove the command center using 'appdata' and 'programdata' and clean the registry using regedit. I try again and get same error. Once error occurs I cant open command center. Luckily I always create restore points before I update software or install software. Has anyone else had this issue or any thoughts on how to resolve it? 2) I had issues with using the touchpad to scroll on the internet page or programs. However, if I disable Tobii everything scrolls fine. So Tobii enabled and scrolling is choppy one line at a time or just doesn't work. Tobii disabled and scrolling works perfectly smooth. Any thoughts or resolutions? Thanks All! I appreciate any support or thoughts! Brian

Hi. I received an email saying I had a private message from someone for my service tag. I went to my private messages to reply and there wasn't a message in there to reply to. Can you send a PM again for me to respond to or is it safe to just post my service tag in a reply here?

You have two accounts (BriDownie and BrianDown) tied to two different email addresses. So log into the other account to look for the private message.
