How about you try using the Apps and programs manager on your device and deleting it from that way?

if you can, you could send a screenshot of the error message as well.

The C:\\windows\installer\cab1.cab is the Visual Studio 2012 or 2015 download.

You can try downloading that and check if it changes anything.

I checked in my programs and i don't have visual 2015 however im getting this message when i'm trying to install 2015

I don't have team viewer, exactly like how you don't have discord, and discord would be a more appropriate software since i wouldn't be allowing a stranger to take control over my computer. I'm more than happy to send you screen shots if we can't use discord or team viewer and you can try to explain to me what to do

So i've downloaded visual 2019, it asked whether i wanted to download any workloads too but i continued without it.

Also managed to enter my service tag and find my latest drivers. There isn't an option to download alienware command centre, only the alienware oc control. So i attempt to install that however i am taken to uninstalling my current version and that's where the problem lies because i keep getting that 'verify where c:\\windows\installer\cab1.cab' is pop up and i can't uninstall without that. Essentially i'm stuck with my current oc controls.

This all started because my command center wasn't recognising my alienfx but somehow (god knows how) that was solved and now my oc controls (thermals and overclocking) in the fusion tab don't even load up and they're in a constant loading wheel on my main alienware command center page. My fan is also reaaally loud
