m17 R3, Alienware OC control, uninstall issue

When opening my Alienware Command Center, it gives me a prompt to update my Alienware OC control, the first step it takes me through is to uninstall the current version however i keep getting an error that says that it can't verify where the file C:\\windows\installer\cab1.cab is. Ive tried looking for it too but its no where to be found. Please help me out as im stuck in limbo without locating this file as I'm not able to uninstall nor install Alienware OC control without it.
