m17 R3, display dimming

I find when not plugged in, my laptop display periodically dims. I've attempted to correct this by adjusting Windows 10 power and display settings and by looking for guidance from this community. The steps provided to resolve this issue on the m17 R2 laptop don't seem to apply to my version.  Any guidance is appreciated.
