m17 R3, electric buzzing sound
Hi,
I recently purchased a new Alienware m17 R3 laptop and it seems to be emitting an low frequency electric buzzing sound that is coming from the middle of the keyboard panel. The fans are at 0% speed when this happens.
Is this normal or might there be an issue?

Here is the online m17 R3 Service Manual. Sounds like an electrical noise issue like you said. So I'd recommend =
* Shut down the laptop all the way
* Disconnect the external AC power from the laptop
* Remove the base cover (page 10)
* Disconnecting the battery cable from the system board (page 25)
* Hold down the power button down for 15 seconds
* Then reconnect in the battery cable, replace the base cover, and check if it happens again
