Hi @RandallC79 welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.
Alienware laptops are designed for high performance and get hot, but should never exceed 100 Celsius = 212 Fahrenheit. Remove Base cover to ensure that fan blades and vents are free of dust and debris.
When internal cooling becomes a problem, this might be fixed by thermal repasting the gap between CPU & GPU and laptop cooling pipes. Alienware: Thermal Repasting - YouTube
I've taken it apart and cleaned it and all looked good, barely any dust build up. I haven't done the CPU & GPU repasting. Which I might have to look at doing at this point.
