m17 R3, no audio devices detected
This seems to be a common issue with this particular model which I find very annoying. The fact that it is such an expensive laptop makes it even more annoying. I have tried every suggestion, troubleshooting but it seems like it has to do with the sound card dying out. Does anyone have a solution that worked for them?

To receive assistance from Dell support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Click the "Get help now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. Provide to them the private Service Tag and all of your troubleshooting.
