m17 R3, Nvidia 2070 Super, optimizations?

So I am 100% new to Alienware and Dell products. I have the Alienware m17 R3 and it has the Nvidia 2070 Super graphics card. I came from a semi-functional Asus ROG Strix Scar Edition. It had Nvidia Geforce Experience and all of it's bells and whistles. Is that something I would need now for optimum gaming and graphics? Or does my computer already have optimizers in the background doing its thing that I do not need to interfere with? Do I need it for the driver updates to get the most out of the graphics card?

I am just getting the last of my updates in and before I start laying into this things abilities. I wanted to make sure that I am not missing anything for it to provide high frame rate, crisp and clear graphics quality, and not completely fall on it's face unlike my ROG. I was hesitant to get this, and I do not want to regret it.
