m17 R4, backlight bleed
Hello,
I recently purchased a new m17 R4 after I had multiple keyboard issues with my old 17 R4 laptop. I noticed that the new m17 R4 has significantly more backlight bleed than my old laptop. I attached a picture of the m17 R4 vs the 17 R4. Does this this warrant a return?
Thanks.

Hi @coppil this is user subjective. If within first thirty days, and you are unhappy with m17 R4, you have option to return and get a refund, see Here.

crimsom is correct about the policy.
Dell never test/validates an LCD in a total dark room.
* Laptop FHD 1920x1080 LCD are tested/validated at 150lux ambient lighting (similar to typical office lighting)
* Laptop UHD 3840x2160 LCD are tested/validated at 70lux ambient lighting (dimly lit room but not completely dark)

Well I contacted customer service and they will be sending out a replacement unit. Unfortunately the new laptop will take nearly a month to arrive. Anyway, here's a side by side pic in a lit room.
