m17 R4, built in microphone stopped working
Alienware m17 R4
Hi there,
After 1 and a half years my built in microphone has suddenly stopped working and is not detecting any sound? I'm wondering if I have to update the driver if so can anyone point me in the right direction to get it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Edsteroonee welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.
Please copy and paste 'Troubleshoot settings' into bottom LH Search on the taskbar. Click on Additional troubleshooters and look for Speech. You may have to install this 'Find and fix other problems' troubleshooter.
