m17 R4, charger replacement?

I wonder if there is any other charger options in Dell? This one is bulky and I know this is purely for gaming. But I do work as well. Do you think I could use 130W USB charger for only work/office applications purposes?

Thanks

Hi @Lastselcuk  using USB for high power transfer should be avoided. There are different wattage ac adapters with the correct dc cord and plug size. Laptops have a battery so they can be used during transit. The Alienware m17 R4 gaming laptop is designed to use maximum power, and consequently battery run time is short. Many users have purchased a second ac adapter for storage and use in their work environment. Is getting a second ac adapter an option for you?

I would recommend getting a 180W adapter but you'd have to crank everything down like in power saving mode so it doesen't go crazy over the fact that whatever adapter it was made for isn't there.
