I got my m17 R5 in 2023 and i also have this problem. It's only been getting worse. Dell came out and changed out the Video card, Mother board and HD but it STILL goes black and i have to UNPLUG MY MOUSE to get it to even boot up. If i try to boot with my mouse plugged in it will not boot up. At all.
