m17 R5, Steam client, Dell TechHub errors

When running a game from steam client, since recently I am getting a message = Dell.TechHub.Instrumentaiton.UserProcess.exe and Dell.TechHub.Instrumentation.SubAgent.exe processes are blocking display mode change.

My graphic card is Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti laptop GPU.

Same issue but on m18 R1. Did you find a fix for it yet?

Posting a video of the issue would be helpful.

Open MSCONFIG--> System Configuration---> Services tab, uncheck the Dell TechHub service. Close all boxes and restart. Then retest games.

After I launch a game, the notification appears. (first image) If I click on it, it jumps to the nvidia control panel. (second picture)

Same exact thing is happening to me on my G15. Been trying to fix it for weeks.

Did you solve the problem?  Even though they connected to my computer via live support, my problem was not resolved.

I have had the same issue since I purchased my laptop July 2023.  I have an m18 with Nvidia 4070 card.  I did not realize the nvidia card was not being used for gaming until earlier this year, as there were several other issues with this laptop.  It wasn't until I changed settings in nvidia control panel under 3d settings changed to nvidia gpu only, then under manage display mode change setting to nvidia gpu only that the error goes away.  (because it can't fault a change because you are already using your nvidia video card.)  I was given the following link by Dell tech support.

I still get black screens, random reboots, blue screens, system failing to come on after sleep mode, hard reboots etc. on this machine that they can't seem to fix
