m17, Ultra HD Blu-ray
Has anyone gotten an Ultra HD Blu-ray to run on an m17 through HDMI? Is it impossible?
Long story short, Cyberlink Ultra HD Blu-ray Advisor says it's OK without my external display connected. The key setting is:
Advanced Protected Audio/Video Path (GPU) : Yes
But when I run it through my monitor, it switches to "No." I need to find out if I have the wrong monitor, or it's a limitation with the m17 and I need a standalone player. I have a Samsung U32J590:
- UHD/4K at 60Hz
- HDCP 2.2
What's interesting is there are two HDMI inputs on the monitor, one for 60Hz and another for 30Hz. If you choose the 30Hz port, it no longer says HDCP 2.2 compatible. So I don't know
Would love to hear of anyone getting this to work.
