M17x R4, Nvidia 660m display driver failure

So for the past month or so I have been having issues where my screen has frozen up on me while using my laptop. I DJ and having this happen while playing is not fun trust me. I can't understand why this has started happening. I thought at first it was one of my apps, but now when I run the diagnostics test from dell the computer will freeze during the process. Can someone please help? If I am using the laptop for basic tasks like internet there seems to be no problems. This past saturday (5-4-19) everything was fine for about 3 hours and then it froze i had to turn it off and then it was fine for about another hour then it froze again. sometimes when this happens the song will continue to play other times it will cut in and out and then just freeze altogether. I've tried updating the driver but no luck. I am on windows 10 pro. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
