M17x R4 Speaker Problem - Workaround

Hey guys, I've been browsing the forums for a solution to the problem with some M17x R4 out there.

Gist of it is, at one point in time, our speakers just stopped working. A red X icon comes up for the Volume Control, and the speakers don't get detected.

I'm not sure if anyone has recommended this before, but...

The tried and tested method that I have found, was simply using a bluetooth speaker.

My laptop is using the i7-3630QM and the GTX 660M.

I'm using a Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 3. And currently, every restart, shut down, sleep, closing the lid, and everything does not affect the speakers.

I am unsure if all Bluetooth speakers work, but I have been using it without a problem so far. 

I hope you guys found this helpful. Even if we cannot use our laptop speakers everywhere, we can just lug a compact speaker with it.
