The problem is your laptop was not validated with Windows 10, meaning Dell/Alienware did not test it to run. If windows 10 does not install a generic blue tooth driver, you could try installing the Windows 8.1 driver and see if that works. If not I'd go back to Windows 8.1 or Windows 7.
Ahh. I read about stuff like that happening between 'builds' of Windows 10. I think the last fall update did that to some computers. Here is the link for the driver. Scroll down to Dell Wireless 380 driver - http://downloads.dell.com/published/pages/alienware-m17x-r4.html
i have an alienware M17xR3 and i tried to update my bluetooth driver but it ended up not working and i cant get it back can you link me to the correct driver for M17xR3
I've already tried the dell one I don't have bigfoot could you possibly like me to an earlier version of generic Bluetooth adapter (I'm still gonna try the dell driver)
If you check in Device Manager under Network Adapters it should show your Wifi adapter. If this is the Bigfoot Killer adapter then it's fair to say that your Bluetooth is as well as I believe they are all on the same card.

https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=8tkf0&oscode=w764&productcode=alienware-m17x-r3
Or if you have the Bigfoot card then maybe this will work

Well I though when you said that it meant it was a mSATA sized WiFi adapter but no it’s the name of the driver.

You can’t go earlier to a generic driver is what I’m thinking because for one, it’s a generic driver.

Well I mean who ever had a laptop without Bluetooth or WiFi?
funny enough,
there was a guy selling me his old M17X R4 and was saying:
”Oh it had a WiFi card or Bluetooth when I bought it off of dells site.”
after that I bought it but When I opened it alas,
There was no WiFi card.
