m18, put this key on my keyboard in its place?
I have an Alienware m18 and I just made the mistake of removing a key from the keyboard after pouring a drink on it. However, I don't know how to return the key to its place, because I've never seen such a mechanism...
Please help me to correct this problem.

Thanks in advance

The key appears broken -- so the solution will be a replacement keyboard.

First, get the spring back on between the mechanical arms on backside of key. See pictures. Note the orientation of the stamped numbers and the connection points of the spring (upper holes).
Now... spent an hour trying to figure out how to push key back into plastic clip properly... but can't seem to get it right.
Would love it if someone with knowledge posted some explanations and pictures.
Don't just say buy a new one. Explain why you think it's broken - or solve the issue. Would be great if DELL would actually answer.

@Ridnick666 No, been using alternate laptop and hoping someone responded... lol. Worried I'll break it and really trying to avoid buying new parts.
I'll give it another try later today, might have something tomorrow.
