M18x R1, GPU failed, replaced, SLI issue

One the my laptop GPU's failed and it has been replaced. Since then I have not been able to activate SLI. The option is not available in the Nvidia control panel. GPUz also confirms SLI is disabled.

I have removed both GPU's and tested both correct. I have replaced the SLI bridge which has made no difference. The drivers have been updated. removed with DDU uninstaller and then re-installed to no effect.

I am at a loss now as to why SLI is no longer available.

If anyone else has had this issue or know of a way to resolve the problem I would love to know.
