Model and serial number
I have a 2011-2012 Alienware 14 inch laptop, I can't seem to find the correct model information and my serial number, on the bottom it says Model P18G then Reg Model P18G002 but when I enter that number into dell's or Alienware product identification it comes back no information, it's a legacy model now and I'm sure it's a M14 series but which one is what I need to know there is a M14, M14X, M14R2, M14R3 an so on I have looked over the motherboard but there is no reference to Model except (QBLBO LA-8381P Rev 1.0 2012-03-01 then on processor fan there is a XN0G5, I am parting the laptop out to sell and I need to be able to provide the correct information to any potential buyers, I look forward to hearing back from you guys. Thank you

Hi @Laptop Junky when using this laptop online, click on Product Support and allow Dell to find system Model and Revision number. If motherboard has been replaced, this could explain why this now redundant information has been removed from laptop rear panel. If Service Tag (Serial number) reveals laptop has been stolen, you commit a criminal offence if you retain or sell this system. @DELL-Cares

Based on the information you’ve provided, Here is what I’ve found:
Your Computer Model is Alienware M14X Revision 2 (Legacy).
