Providing compound for repaste
I am in the process of having my laptop’s heatsink assembly replaced due to throttling. I was wondering if its possible for the technician to use higher quality thermal compound that I will provide since they have to repaste anyways.

Yea when they come by you can give them whatever paste you want.

They could tell you that they are only authorized to use Dell-approved parts for warranty service. It depends on the technician really,,,
