I'd certainly hope so, but i'm not seeing anything in particular on the website about how i'd go about exactly doing that. I want it to be a simple matter of being able to return it and get a new one right back, just paying for some shipping along the way, but i'm not seeing that as an option yet. it only so far seems like i can return it and return it alone, get my money back, and then potentially just buy a whole new one, which just adds obnoxious extra steps of monetary shenanigans.
Yeah, but I think you can contact them for a replacement OR just buy a new PSU that fits inside the Graphics Amp but I don’t think you can replace the power supply in it.
I've asked about return policies in previous posts, but the important bottom line is, is this typical for all Alienware Graphics Amplifiers?
Using an Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070 Super, plugged directly into a wall outlet, on an Alienware 15 r2 laptop, a high detail game like Monster Hunter World will cause the power supply of my Alienware Graphics Amplifier to make a loud, constant rattling/buzzing noise. In this sort of setup, is a noise from the machine inevitable? or is it a malfunction I can reasonably get a replacement for?
Hey MiracleMonty - I am having the exact issue as demonstrated by your video. I've sent in for a replacement AGA, were you still having issues with a new one?

It’s a malfunctioning PSU. Disconnect and stop use immediately. Return to dell and get a replacement.

I think you can return it to them and they'll replace yours with a new one for free if it's in the 1 year warrenty.

He never replaced his with a new one I think?
I recommended getting a new PSU to fix the issue.

Definitely a stock PSU issue, second AGA had the same issue. Replaced the PSU with another unit (which was surprisingly easy) and no more sound!

That’s great.
