Secondary SSD Installed As RAID By Default?
I just received my new Alienware m17, upgraded the RAM and installed a secondary NVMe M.2 drive. My intention was to clone the boot drive to this new drive (Samung 970 EVO Plus), then use that as the boot drive and the one that shipped as a secondary drive for expanded storage. However, upon booting the computer I didn't see the second SSD as an additional disc in "This PC". Upon doing a little digging, I found that the system recognized and setup that second drive, but it set the drive up as a RAID drive paired with the original boot drive that shipped. My questions are: -Did this happen because of the specific m.2 slot I used (the one immediately adjacent to the stock drive)? -Is there any way to undo this pairing without a complete reinstall? -If i need to completely reinstall, how do I go about doing that? Thanks.
