Why my order is taking long time?

I placed an order for alienware m15 r2 and it is showing delivery date is after 2 weeks.

I doubt anyone here will be able to tell you what's going on with your specific order, but there are a variety of possibilities.  It could be a delay getting required parts, a high volume of orders that need to be filled, an issue at the factory, etc.

My experience is that the order will come faster than predicted.  Alienware is aware that nothing irritates a customer more than to be told, probably in  x days.  and then it is longer.  They tend to overestimate the time to delivery.  However, that is not always the case.  Just take heart.  Often Alienware build is not started until you order.  Yes, sometimes some part or the other is not there.  In my experience Alienware is anxious to get you your laptop, and (used to) after a few days, you will start seeing information on your order.
