Your opening post says Dell Support has assigned a local contractor to install a replacement keyboard, but it only worked for 30 minutes. You must revisit your existing online Support Request and tell Dell Support that your Alienware x14 R# has not been fixed. After the third separate attempt, it is Dell policy to provide a replacement laptop whose specification is equal to or better than your Alienware x14 R#.

Had the same issue and found a fix on Reddit Possible Solution for X-Series Keyboard Issues : r/Alienware (reddit.com)
