x15 R1, BIOS issue, cannot boot into Windows
hi
ive got an update on my alienware x15 r1 for my bios thru support assistant app, i tried to install it but it was stuck forever on "installing" and it didnt progress any further.
after that i rebooted my laptop but everything was fine until ive tried it again it didnt work
of course, and then i manually downloaded the exe file for the update , but it showed me an error saying "driver " or "drivers dont" something, cant remember exactly what it was saying.
so after that i just didnt care and continued using my laptop like usually, then i shut it down. the next day i boot up and it shows me the bios recovery thing.
i chose the option to recover my bios, even though i didnt know what exactly was wrong with it (might be my mistake), after that was completed, my laptop rebooted and then it shows me a bluescreen everytime now that i try to boot up into my system.
also before it was a 1.25.0 version of my bios and now its 1.19.0.

You may want to reinstall the BIOS firmware loaded on a USB drive from BIOS boot menu.
Go to your system BIOS firmware page https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=hj5c5&oscode=wt64a&productcode=alienware-x15-r1-laptop, download and copy the BIOS firmware on to a FAT32 formatted USB drive.
With the USB drive connected, boot the system up and keep tapping on F12 until you get one time boot menu. From the menu, select flash BIOS firmware and follow the screen to select the BIOS image file on USB drive. Do not interrupt the flash update process or disconnect power until it complete.

Yes, that is a safe method to update firmware without interfering with your operating system or files. The process will only update the BIOS (motherboard) and the BIOS recovery image (boot drive) on a hidden partition.
It's one of suggested work around posted by Dell manager at this thread https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/xps-desktops/xps-8960-sa-not-installing-bios/678d56ceefb69d2956654df0
