x15 R1, Linux driver, USB-Ethernet adapter
Hi,
Does anybody know which driver on Linux works for the USB-Ethernet adapter of Alienware x15 R1? When I hit "lsusb", I saw "Dell Computer Corp" as a vendor. Since this comes with Alienware as an accessory, do we need a special driver for it?
Thanks

Dell never provided any Linux drivers for Alienware Laptops. The x15 R1 driver page only shows Windows 10/11.
I do not see a USB--> Ethernet adapter on the x15 R1 parts page.
The x15 R1 sales page Accessories shows Alienware mouse, monitor, keyboard, chair, headset, etc. but not a USB--> Ethernet adapter.

Hi there,
I mean the USB-Ethernet adapter came with the Alienware as a default accessory which I didn't expect though.
I know Dell provides only Windows driver but if you can share any chip info on it, that would be great.
Thanks.
