x17 R2, create OEM image, backup product?
Ordered my wife an Alienware x17 R2. I want to create an OEM image of it before I install Office 2019 Pro and Visio. Then after I want to create an image of that for disaster recovery.
What backup product has the storage controller drivers native to the backup software boot CD/DVD/USB for the laptop? I also will want to do differentials/incrementals.
I normally use Acronis but I am not sure if the boot CD/DVD/USB has the correct drivers. Too many times on different machines Acronis does not see drives of NVME or RAID.

Dell disaster recovery plan option Disaster Recovery – Backup Technology | Dell Technologies US. Advocate use Macrium Reflect Free to create clone (copy) standby OS(C:) boot drive, should also be part of your disaster recovery plan. If original OS(C:) boot drive cannot be recovered, swap in standby OS(C:) boot drive will get system up and running within minutes. Keep all your personal files on Data drive. A RAID (two disk) OS(C:) is not as reliable or fast as a single 2TB M.2 2280 ultra-fast PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe OS(C:) disk. Alienware x17 R2 Storage | Dell US options and Crucial System Advisor options Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | alienware | alienware notebooks | Alienware X17 R2 | Crucial.com. Check to ensure OS(C:) disk partition format is GPT so that BIOS UEFI boot list option is enabled. For additional protection, the disks should have Bitlocker capability so that if laptop is "lost", third party access to your personal data is denied.
