Exclusion/Inclusion Syntax documentation

Question

Is there any good/decent documentation on Exclude/Include syntax?  I'm coming from Tivoli and imagine the syntax for wildcards are different.  Also, not sure if Excludes or Includes take precedence in Avamar.  Any docs or some place with some decent examples would be great.  I know browsing to a directory and putting it in the exclude list is easy, but things like trying to exclude any temp or tmp directories in either Windows or piecing together a set of Exclude and Include rules work would be very helpful. Appreciate any help, thanks.

Hi Below example If I wanted to exclude DAT files from the 'Group' Folder backup, I would do the following: Source Data = D:\Group\ Inclusions = D:\Group\ Exclusions = *.DAT BUT if I wanted to backup just the DAT files from 'Group' folder, I would do the following: Source Data = D:\Group\ Inclusions = *.DAT Exclusions = D:\Group\
