VMware backup disk size reports
Hello,
Each day, i have a capacity and Bytes protected report, i see that :
Server1 Windows File System All Custom Datasets 10.1084 GB
Server2 Windows VMware Image All Custom Datasets 20 GB
Server 1 : considers the backup (with deduplication) and the retention.
Server 2 : We see only the size disk (The system use actually 12 GB on 20GB)
Is that possible to see the real disk space used by server for VMware backup ?

Do add Avamar tag , we too are facing similar issue.
When it comes to restoration of vmware image backups avamar or any other tool, all data, whether disk is partially utilized or fully utilized, is restored.
Ian Anderson might be of some quick help.
From my experience other backup software too work similar fashion.
We are on 7.2, the latest stable release
